South Saharan Social Development Organization, SSDO, with support from Oxfam Novib, is organising a Town Hall Meeting which aims to reposition Enugu State for good governance through upholding the dignity of the human person in revenue collection.
This event will bring together people from the Government, Judiciary, Civil Society Organisations, Professional bodies, Informal Sector, Media Organisations and all citizens.
In February this year, SSDO won a case against the Enugu State Waste Management Authority (ESWAMA) on the abuse of power by officials of this agency. SSDO is using the momentum of this case to organize and mobilize Civil Society Organisations and citizens of Enugu State to campaign against the abuse of power by government officials in the discharge their duties.- Click here to read the full story
